American Bald Eagle
American bald eagle is a bird unique to north america and about half of the world's birds of this species reside in Alaska.
The first settlers considered these birds as evil predators preying on domestic living stock. Up to nowadays, they are hunted by ignorant people who want to save small animals from these predators. The fact is that this species feeds mostly on fish and controls the population of small mammals by killing weak and senior animals. These species are at the top of the food chains in many ecosystems. Being opportunistic hunters, these birds don’t have to hunt every day, but their young need fresh food every day.
